The series is one of the worst things I've ever read, 10/10. It ties into the main Grimm's "world," which has some kind of good stories if you're into cheesy retellings of fairy tales, but nothing really clever. If I remember right, there's a trilogy of three stories made up of six or so issues, all three of which are terrible, some spinoffs that are even worse, and then an ongoing series (now ended) that was actually kind of passable. The Jabberwocky is, no joke, a Lovecraftian Great Old One.Ī third of the story is some sort of slasher on acid, another third is wannabe Lovecraft, and the rest is really badly drawn gore. The Mad Hatter is some sort of sentient virus transmitted through the hat. I'd say it was a clever deconstruction of the tropes, but it literally just makes everybody into an insane murderer. Anyway, Wonderland in the series is supposed to be some sort of cosmic horror land like Carcosa or Ry'leh (IIRC it apparently inspired Ry'leh) but it really. They're absolutely terrible (as in, badly written and badly drawn) horror reimaginings of Alice in Wonderland, following Alice's daughter as she is sucked back into Wonderland for. So, I know this is really late, but you might ( might) like the Grimm's Fairy Tales "Wonderland" comics, especially if you're into trainwrecks. I always did see Captain Hook as more of a victim than a villain anyway. So if possible, are there any horror versions of Peter Pan out there? Especially given the fact that with a character like Peter Pan, being an egotistical brat and how he kidnaps children, he would also make for one creepy horror villain. Even movies or short films can qualify on this post.Īlso, while not exclusive to this post, is there also any good horror versions of the story of Peter Pan and Captain Hook? The story of Peter Pan is one of my all-time favourite stories, with Captain Hook being one of my favourite villains ever. I really want more decent horror focused on Alice in Wonderland. There's just SO MUCH POTENTIAL to make Alice in Wonderland into a horror story. The way things are so nonsesical, the grotesque designs of the characters, the idea of actually making the Mad Hatter murderously insane, etc. Latest version Version 2.0 Released 175.03 KB Works with firefox 53.0 and later, android 65. Thor & Peter Pan Horror Version In an interview with TMZ, the director Rhys opened up. You should always use the latest version of an add-on. The film is helmed and written by Rhys Frake Waterfield. Personally, I always thought that Alice in Wonderland would make an EXCELLENT horror story, especially psychological horror. horror version history - 2 versions Be careful with old versions These versions are displayed for testing and reference purposes. After playing American McGee's Alice and Alice: Madness Returns, I just really want to see more.
